Business Insider went full leftist propaganda on this one. Let’s start with the title, “Doug Mastriano bizarrely pledged to ban pole dancing from schools if he is elected governor of Pennsylvania.” They’re trying to pretend like this is bizarre? Like it’s bizarre for Pennsylvania parents to be concerned about pole dancing in schools and this is a bizarre pledge for a candidate to make to them? Meanwhile, schools ARE trying to teach our kids to have vaginal, oral, and anal sex, mutually masturbate, engage in bondage play, and even transition to a different gender, much of which is taking place behind the backs of parents. But suddenly it’s unreasonable for a candidate to pledge to keep pole dancing out of schools, as though that would never happen anyway?

The second point in their article summary says that “he did not provide evidence of pole dancing being taught in any schools.” Well, it’s a speech. And candidates don’t generally cite their sources during their speeches. Usually, claims from speeches get fact checked if someone thinks the claims are false. Actually, conservatives and Republicans get fact checked. Everyone else is allowed to say anything they ever want, regardless of whether it’s true.
But Business Insider clearly didn’t even check these facts because it literally took 15 seconds to conduct a single google search and find this story from early August about a Central Pennsylvania Pride event that set up a stripper pole and had an instructor teaching Pennsylvania kids how to pole dance.

At the time, there was public discussion about how it wouldn’t be long before this was in Pennsylvania schools. Considering everything else that’s taking place in schools, it is not unfounded to consider that pole dancing might come to schools, whether in the form of physical education, at an assembly, or at a school sponsored event. So no, it’s not bizarre for a gubernatorial candidate to pledge to keep pole dancing out of schools.
This will be the next thing on the school curriculum, disguised as "exercise" and any concerned parents objecting to their kids being sexualised will be denounced as hateful bigots

The third point in their article summary says, “His comments play on a growing right-wing moral panic accusing teachers of sexualizing children.” Wow. That is just BLATANT leftist propaganda. They’re not even pretending to be at all objective. It’s not a “right-wing moral panic.” The fight against the hyper-sexualization of children in schools is being fought by parents of EVERY political ideology. There are a lot of people across the ideological spectrum who don’t support the radical gender and sex indoctrination that is being continuously exposed in schools. So calling it a “right-wing moral panic” is misleading and also makes people afraid to the sexualization of children for fear of being labeled “right-wing.” Also, it makes it sound like a bad thing to oppose. Like we should be ridiculed for opposing the sexualization of children.
And we’re not just “accusing teachers of sexualizing children.” It is an established and very well documented fact that teachers, administrators, and school programs ARE sexualizing children. There are hundreds of videos, numerous lawsuits, and far too many psychologically and even physically damaged children who prove that it’s happening. It’s beyond accusation at this point. But again, it makes it sound like such a bad thing that we’re doing. Like we’re unjustifiably accusing someone of something that isn’t happening when we’re really just exposing exactly what IS happening.
Meanwhile, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is mutilating children. Doesn’t seem so bizarre to ban pole dancing from schools, does it.
