There’s a company that produced an app called “CHANI | Astrology for Healing,” and it might be the most radically woke company in the world right now. Their Twitter page says they are “the #1 astrology app for manifestation, self-discovery, mindfulness, and healing.” I guess when there’s only one app for exactly those things, then you are, by default, the #1. Their website also declares them a “queer, feminist-led tech and media company.”
Recently, people have been talking about how radically woke the company is, so I did a little digging so you didn’t have to. First of all, check out this page of “benefits and perks for employees,” straight from their website.

Listen, I think these things sound AMAZING! I just don’t see how it’s really financially feasible, to be honest. FULLY covered health, dental, and vision? FULLY covered? UNLIMITED vacation PLUS a vacation stipend? Why would people work if they get unlimited vacation? And uterus-havers get UNLIMITED menstrual leave. Menstruation is a cycle, so are there rules about what part of the cycle or what symptoms qualify for menstrual leave?
Then there’s the “gender-based violence paid and protected leave.” Again, what qualifies as gender-based violence and how is it determined? Seems like a “my truth” kind of situation, doesn’t it?
Now, all these things sound really great, but also fairly unrealistic. But I’d love to read all the specific details for all this, as well as their financial plan to provide all this ON TOP OF $80K minimum salary, 401(k) with 5% matching, and various stipends.
But if this all sounds really great, you should apply! Well, you should apply if you if you meet their woke standards. They explain,
“Folks who are queer, trans, non-binary, Black, Indigenous, people of color, disabled, parents, are/have been system-impacted, are immigrants, and anyone who has experienced systemic oppression and/or gender-based violence are encouraged to apply.”
Whew! That’s who’s encouraged to apply. To be fair, I guess I qualify under “parents,” as well as having been “system-impacted,” because anyone could make an argument for having been impacted by a system. It just might not be the system or the impact Chani Nicholas, the owner, prefers. But if they ask for details of what system and what impact, I’m sure I could just say that it’s triggering to talk about and demand that they respect and acknowledge “my truth.”
So now that my interest was peaked JUST FROM THIS PAGE, I checked out the couple of job postings they had on their site. The first one, “Production Assistant,” had a REALLY interesting line. Here’s a screenshot.

Do you see it? DO YOU SEE IT?! “A valid California driver’s license and vehicle insurance.” Applicants need not even apply if they don’t have a valid California driver’s license. Considering how incredibly woke this company is, and how they’re supposedly all about helping minority demographics who feel oppressed by “the system,” HOW DO THEY NOT KNOW THAT LEFTISTS CLAIM THAT REQUIRING ID IS RACIST AND PART OF AN OPPRESSIVE SYSTEM?!
I get it, they need a driver’s license and vehicle insurance because there is some local travel necessary for the position. But if it’s racist to expect minority demographics to have ID to vote, then how is it not racist for CHANI to expect applicants (who they hope are minorities) to have a very specific ID for this job? Isn’t it basically blatant racial discrimination for CHANI to tell potential applicants to not even bother applying unless they have a valid California driver’s license when leftists claim it’s minority demographics who can’t get ID like driver’s licenses?
Anyway, I’m curious how long this company will last. It seems a lot like socialism or communism in that it sounds really great in theory, but in practice, it never lives up to the idealized expectations or promises. Anyway, here’s the founder Chani Nicholas’ take on the Trump FBI raid, if you can decipher it.
I’ll say this – as a Leo rising he has the challenging/disruptive/breakthrough bound/dumpster fire astro of Mars/Uranus/North Node in his 10th house of public image and career. https://t.co/ovQRgsntyG

My company offers unlimited vacation and I still work. It works like this:
“Hey I wanna take some days off next week.”
“Will your clients know?”
“Once it’s approved, yes.”
“Are you caught up on your tasks?”
“Yep”
“Have fun”
“I’ll say this – as a Leo rising he has the challenging/disruptive/breakthrough bound/dumpster fire astro of Mars/Uranus/North Node in his 10th house of public image and career.”
Can I get that in English, please?
I think in English that roughly translates into “Orange man bad,” though I’m not entirely sure.
In the company’s defense, they only have one employee and that is Chani Nicholas. And, given her apparent business acumen and outright sexual discrimination, one can hope her company will probably not be long for this world.
