Liz Cheney recently promised she would leave the Republican Party if Donald Trump is the 2024 nominee. I’m not sure what she’s waiting for, to be honest. She may as well just make her exit now. But Liz Cheney made another promise as well. She promised,
“I’m going to do everything I can to make sure Kari Lake is not elected.”
And she confirmed to the Texas Tribune that that includes campaigning for Democrats. When asked about Cheney’s promise to campaign against her, Kari Lake said,
“That might be the biggest, best gift I’ve ever received. I mean, the people of Wyoming can’t stand her. I’m pretty much sure that the people of Arizona don’t like Liz Cheney.”

Just take a moment to consider the hubris of Liz Cheney, who is impressively disliked nationally and whose own state recently sent her packing, thinking that she is important enough to go to another state to tell them who should be their governor. As Kari Lake said, “The New Republican Party is the Party of ‘We The People.’ It is no longer the Party of Warmongers,” like Liz Cheney. The only thing Liz Cheney has really ever had going for her is her name, and that isn’t worth much these days. But, in true political elitist fashion, she’s thinks very highly of herself and her influence. Which doesn’t concern Kari Lake in the slightest. Nor should it.
