Clearly, King Charles must have read my last article.
On Thursday, Sept. 15, news broke that the palace has reversed course on its previous decision which would bar Prince Harry from wearing his military uniform to Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.
Now the palace says, “Tally-ho! Just kidding! Wear your uniform!” Or something like that.
While Prince Harry is not a working royal, he did serve in the military for 10 years and completed two tours in Afghanistan. As far as I’m concerned, he’s more than earned the honor.
The likely culprit for the sudden change of plans is public pushback due to creeper Prince Andrew being allowed to wear his uniform to the service, while Prince Harry was denied.
Royal reporter, Omid Scobie tweeted:
The reversal—first reported by The Mirror—follows Harry’s statement saying his “military service is not determined by the uniform he wears”, but it is understood the Palace caved to public sentiment after thousands complained about the decision to ban him and not Prince Andrew.

Creeper Prince Andrew is also not a working royal due to his sex-abuse lawsuit, so the palace’s previous decision made zero sense. And Andrew is yucky. So there’s that.
I’m glad they changed their mind. As annoying as Prince Harry is now, he did serve his country well.
