CNN Cancels Brian Stelter And “Reliable Sources” Sunday Show

I can barely believe I get to say this, but Brian Stelter has been canceled. And I’m not talking about being socially cancelled by the woke mob. I mean that his show, hilariously and ironically called “Reliable Sources,” has been officially cancelled by CNN, and Brian Stelter is departing the network.

In a statement to NPR, who broke the story, Stelter expressed his appreciation for his show and his team’s work with “the media, truth and the stories that shape our world.” It’s funny that he mentions “truth” since he hasn’t seemed to care much for it the last few years. As for “stories that shape our world,” he’s certainly been active in carefully and unethically framing the narrative of those stories to protect a hyper partisan agenda. As a fixture of mainstream establishment media, perhaps the biggest contribution he has made in his career is to help convince millions of Americans that they cannot trust the mainstream establishment media, himself included. What a legacy. This Sunday will be his final show, at which time he promises to say goodbye to the 5 geriatrics who still watch him, probably by force at the airport or in the hospital.

There really is almost no stench as repugnant as a forgotten potato in the back of your cupboard that’s rotting into mush. It’s perhaps one of the most distasteful messes to have to clean up. Apparently, not even CNN could justify keeping someone so unliked and untrusted as Brian Stelter, and now they’re cleaning up the mess.
