Healthcare Workers Fired Over Vax Mandate Win HUUUUUGE Lawsuit

This is awesome news indeed!

According to the sourcelink, healthcare workers in IL who were terminated due to refusal to get the Covid vaccine are about to finally get justice.  They will be receiving a TEN MILLION DOLLAR settlement thanks to Liberty Counsel, who filed the lawsuit on behalf of workers at NorthShore University HealthSystem this past October.  

The case settled around NorthShore’s apparent refusal to grant any religious exemptions to the mandate, and the settlement results in almost 500 employees getting compensation.  473 employees were denied exemptions, and will receive 25k each, and 13 plaintiffs in the lawsuit will get an additional 20k.  Employees who complied with the mandate after being denied the exemption will get 3k.  All affected workers will be eligible to be re-employed by NorthShore. 

“Let this case be a warning to employers that violated Title VII,” Mat Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel, the group behind the lawsuit, told the Washington Examiner. “It is especially significant and gratifying that this first classwide COVID settlement protects healthcare workers.”

Liberty Counsel’s work isn’t done.  They’re apparently also working with claimants in the airline industry as well as other healthcare providers.  And this is as it should be.  The vaccine mandates were an absolute abomination, PARTICULARLY given the total about-face the CDC has done on its guidelines.
