August 1, 2022In today’s Democrats-Suck news, I give you Amy Degise, New Jersey Councilwoman, who – on her Twitter feed – describes herself as a “HudsonDems Feminist and Advocate.”
Whatever that means.
On July 19th, she “plowed down a bicyclist while speeding through an intersection and kept going in an apparent hit-and-run accident.” Apparently, she’s not an “advocate” for human beings after she hurls her car at them. She just driiiiiiives on by:
There are people who have the audacity to blame this on the cyclist, saying he was at fault, because he wasn’t obeying traffic laws. And OK, he may have been to blame for the collision. Whatever. But SHE DIDN’T FREAKING STOP. So what in the hell is wrong with this woman?
And now there’s a movement to get her to resign, and I wholeheartedly agree, because people who hit and run have no business being in leadership positions. PERIOD. End of story.

Resign? How about putting her in cuffs (and not in the fun way). Also, $20 says she was on her phone.
Oh, and it gets better. A few months ago she had her car towed because she was hit in a no parking zone and her car hadn’t been registered since 2019. She then played the “(nearly) crying woman”, “I’m a teacher”, I know a cop”, and “I’m a councilman” cards to get out of it.

EVEN IF the cyclist wasn’t following the traffic rules, was it HIS fault she didn’t stop like she is legally required to? I mean, NONE of this would really be an issue if she had JUST STOPPED TO RENDER AID!!!! THAT is what people have a problem with, NOT so much that she hit him. Accidents happen. And he could very well NOT have been following the rules of the road. But the fact that she didn’t STOP is what will be the crime! HOLY SH**!!!
Maybe she took her first driving test in Florida. You still pass if the cyclist gets back up like shown in the video.
Or Hawaii. They have the WORST drivers. My FIL tried to tell me I can’t drive like I drove while living there (I slowed down on the HW to let a guy merge in). I told him, if I didn’t we’d be in an accident (people don’t look before they merge onto the HW). You cannot drive in Hawaii like you are taught elsewhere in the country. You just can’t.
That must be true. I got lost in Honolulu and was pulled over for going the wrong way on a one-way street. The cop let me off after learning I was just following one of the locals.
