Well, well, well. This is interesting, isn’t it?
Gas prices have been dropping for 34 days straight, about 50 cents a gallon. That saves the average driver about $25 a month.

I know those extra dollars and cents mean something. It's breathing room. And we're not done working to get prices even lower.
So we’re supposed to just ignore the fact that they’re still in the $4.50 range, which is ASTRONOMICALLY HIGHER than they were before Biden decided to declare war on the oil/gas industries via executive order during his first week as president? Mkay.
It’s fascinating that Biden has wanted to blame the high gas prices on Putin’s war in Ukraine, until now, apparently. Now they’re “not done working to get them lower.” Um, the war is still raging. So how does he square this? Also – his own economic adviser Brian Deese is claiming that Americans are saving DOUBLE what Biden said in the above tweet. WTF.

As I said on Twitter, Brian making this talking point – that we should all be delighted with $4.50 gas instead of the $5.15 (and more for some folks!) gas we were suffering just a few weeks ago, is like bragging that a man now beats his wife 5 times a month instead of 10 and suggesting she should be grateful for the reduction.
This administration is the LITERAL WORST. FULL STOP.

What good is saving an extra $25 or $50 a month when people are still in the red $300, $400, $500 in the red each month?
