Inflation Hits 9.1%, The Highest In 41 Years

The rest of us who live in the real world, have REAL jobs, and who don’t steal their money from American taxpayers know the real truth:

Inflation surged an unexpectedly strong 9.1% last month, raising the risk of even steeper rate hikes from the Federal Reserve as Americans get pummeled by record gas prices, soaring rents and stiff grocery bills.

The dismal June reading released by the Labor Department on Wednesday — the highest since November 1981 — will ratchet up pressure on President Biden, who has faced widespread criticism over his muted initial response as higher prices slammed household budgets.

The data also stoked speculation about stiffer rate increases from the Fed, which hiked its benchmark interest rate by three-quarters of a percentage point for the first time since 1994 after a higher-than-expected inflation reading a month earlier.

Nothing to see here, though, right Biden and friends?

Then there’s energy and rent prices. Don’t forget THOSE (even though Biden doesn’t have to worry about either, amirite?):

Energy prices have surged 41.6% since the same month last year, marking the steepest annual increase since April 1980. The food index also increased at a decades-high clip of 10.4%.

Rent prices, another key input for inflation, jumped 0.8% from May to June – the largest monthly increase since April 1986.

OMG.

And there’s no end in sight – both to the inflation AND the blame-shifting. First it was the pandemic. Then it was transitory? Then it was Putin’s war, and now he’s daring to blame Republicans for this mess. Because why not? When you’re a politician, there’s never any accountability. Screw it! Never mind the fact that he’s made us energy-DEPENDENT on countries that despise us. Never mind that he’s giving our reserves to China. Never mind all the shady deals his degenerate son has made – ones that this corrupt Biden DOJ will never investigate.

Plus, Democrats have an agenda to fast-track, y’all – one that involves socialism and eco-fascism. One that eerily resembles what Sri Lanka just went through. And look how well THAT worked out for them, huh AOC?
