The Only Thing This “Pride Cruiser” Represents Is Misguided Priorities
June 23, 2022My 6 year old son is adorable, but he has a limited understanding of basic finance, market, or economic principles, especially pertaining to the gas crisis. And that’s because he’s 6. But he’s often heard me express my frustration about gas prices and inflation, so he has some idea of what’s going on. Last week when we were at Costco filling up, he asked me, “Why doesn’t Costco just make the sign say a lower number so it won’t cost so much money?” He figured that if Costco and other gas stations would just lower the asking price for the gas they are selling, then it would make people happier and solve the gas crisis. Poof! No more expensive gas because they simply lowered the price they were asking at the pump!
And the President of the United States apparently also has a 6 year old understanding of the gas crisis. Watch Biden’s “simple” message to “the companies running gas stations” that he thinks will solve the gas crisis. Just lower the price you’re charging at the pump! Who knew it was as simple as that. As though there are no other factors to consider other than deciding what number to throw up on that digital price sign. Also, what is the weird graphics and background for this video?

They generally make less than a nickle a gallon. The pump price is normally set by the oil company, except in the rare case of an independent station – of which there are fewer and fewer each year. So SloJo is telling the station owner/operator to go broke – yeah, that will help.
We are being governed by some of the most ignorant people in human history. If we do not stop voting for these people, we are doomed as a vialbe country.
