Monica Lewinsky Tweets, Then Deletes, World’s Worst Take On Gun Control

We talked about this in our livestream this morning, and then lo and behold, Monica Lewinsky deleted this dumbass take she had the other day about guns.

First of all, imagine how dangerously fast she was speeding to warrant a ticket for FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS.

Along with my response to her above, there is plenty more about her dumbass statement that makes it supremely dumbass.  Like the fact that even though there are laws on the books prohibiting speeding, she went fast enough to get a gigantic ticket.  So it’s almost as if people intent on breaking the law aren’t stopped by laws.  

Now, that said, I’m not suggesting there shouldn’t be laws of any kind.  But we already have laws prohibiting murdering other humans, so….

But when I just went back through my retweets, I noticed she’d deleted this tweet altogether.  No explanation.  Just….poof. On the twitter app, you can still see it, except underneath it – it now says, “This tweet has been deleted.”

So either Monica realizes that her dumbass tweet was really dumbass, or she’s just tired of people pointing out how dumbass it was and is hoping that the backlash goes away.

I’m guessing it’s the latter, given that she’s a person who unironically retweets DAVID HOGG.
