Just In Case You Needed A Conservatism Refresher….

If you needed a refresher in why one would be a Republican over a Democrat, it doesn’t take much to understand that these days – what with $7 a gallon gas, out-of-control crime, a porous border where fentanyl and crime are literally being invited in by this inept administration, and national security that is anything but secure.  Make no mistake – the Democrat party is now the socialism party, and they hate taxpaying, rule-following Americans.  What they truly love is control – over you and your life.  Every single aspect of it.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve watched this video on why Elbert Guillory, former member of the Louisiana State Senate, switched from Democrat to Republican.  I bet there are a lot of folks out there wondering why they’re Democrats these days.  I wonder why you’re a Democrat, too.  For crying out loud, just look around.

Elbert explains so much of why I am conservative in this video.  Why I am a Republican.  “To be truly free is to be reliant on no one, other than the author of our destiny.  These are the ideas at the core of the Republican party.”

That’s damn right.
