Have you heard of the term “whitewashing?” It’s essentially the unrealistic and incorrect portrayal of non-white characters as white, or misrepresenting the whiteness of a story or character. For example, it would be misleading and incorrect to portray Princess Jasmine as a white skinned, blonde haired, blue eyed European woman in a froo froo English ball gown when the story is about a Saudi Arabian woman in Saudi Arabia. She should be portrayed as a woman of Middle Eastern descent. It’s kind of a big issue these days, especially with leftists who care more about identity than almost anything else. Well, I like to call Disney’s current agenda “queerwashing.” And it’s exactly what it sounds like. The unrealistic and incorrect portrayal of characters as queer, or misrepresenting the statistical queerness of a society.
People have accused me of being an extremist and an alarmist for warning that Big Entertainment is intentionally, overtly, and unrealistically saturating your child’s entertainment with gender theory agenda narratives in order to normalize and promote the agendas.
Well, Chris Rufo recently obtained and posted videos of Disney executives in a meeting about Disney’s response to Gov. DeSantis’ Parental Rights in Education bill, HB 1557, misleadingly referred to as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. And I feel totally vindicated because in the videos from the meeting, the Disney execs explain that they are intentionally, overtly, and unrealistically saturating your child’s entertainment with gender theory agenda narratives in order to normalize and promote the agendas.
Disney Corporate President Karey Burke explains that she’s an activist because she has “two queer children,” one transgender and one pansexual. She explains that she wants to have “many, many, many LGBTQIA characters in our stories.” This is the “unrealistically” bit I mentioned. It is unrealistic and not at all consistent with actual statistics to have “many, many, many LGBTQIA characters” in each Disney story. But if you portray the characters that way, then children will start to wrongly believe that that is the correct statistical representation in society. It’s intentionally misleading in an effort to normalize.

Then you’ve got Executive Producer Latoya Raveneau explaining that she has a “not-at-all-secret gay agenda” where she specifically concentrates on “adding queerness” to the children’s shows and movies she helps to produce. That’s the “intentionally” and “overtly” bit I mentioned above. She’s intentionally concentrating on adding queerness, and she’s not even trying to be covert about it. It’s not a secret agenda.

Then there’s Production Coordinator Allen March who promises his colleagues that he and his team are “exploring queer stories.” He explains that he “put together a tracker” to make sure that characters, including background characters, are sufficiently “gender nonconforming characters,” and to ensure they are creating “canonical trans characters” and “canonical bisexual characters” who “can be their whole selves.”

And, of course, it’s not limited to the Disney movies and shows your kids are watching. Disney’s Diversity and Inclusion Manager Vivian Ware explained that last summer, the company “removed all of the gendered greetings in relationship to our live spiels,” specifically eliminating the phrase “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls” from announcements at theme parks and such, and instead say things like, “Dreamers of all ages.” And while Disney merchandise is still sold with “men” and “women” designations, they are training cast members at the theme parks that they shouldn’t “just assume because someone might be, in our interpretation, may be presenting as female, that they may not want to be called “princess.”

They are intentionally, overtly, and unrealistically saturating your child’s entertainment with gender theory agenda narratives in order to normalize and promote the agendas. They want to indoctrinate your children so that they will grow up to be little gender theory activists, or at least more complacent about the obvious gender theory agenda push. They want to train your children to reject gender entirely. To see genderlessness as cool and normal for huge numbers of the population. This in turn supports their agendas against nuclear families, marriage, and numerous other traditional conservative or Christian values. If they can train your kids to believe what they want them to believe, then they simply have to wait until they grow up and they won’t have to worry about your dissent because you will be so incredibly outnumbered by the army of activists they raised while you weren’t looking.
