Babylon Bee Suspended For Joke Naming Biological Male “Man of the Year,” Deemed “Hateful Content”

Womanhood took two major blows in the last week or so. Notably, transgender athlete Lia Thomas, who is biologically male, was named the NCAA Women’s Champion swimmer after beating olympic silver medalists. A pretty incredible step up from Thomas’ totally mediocre previous ranking of 462 among men… Also, Rachel Levine, US Assistant Health Secretary, was named one of USA Today’s Women of the Year.

Transgender Rachel Levine is a biological male.

Well, The Babylon Bee capitalized on the absolute insanity of naming a biological male a “Woman of the Year,” and wrote a satire article naming the biological male as their company’s “Man of the Year.”

In response to the completely anatomically and scientifically correct joke, Twitter slapped The Babylon Bee with a suspension and a notice that they were “violating the Twitter Rules” against “hateful conduct.”

The “hateful conduct” rule states,

“You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.”

Apparently, jokingly naming a biological male as a “Man of the Year” is considered violence and hate speech. Which is absolutely ridiculous.

Hundreds of millions of people in this country feel like it’s a mean and even hateful joke to name a biological male as a “Woman of the Year” instead of one of the many worthy and deserving biological females in this country. We are being forced to stand by watching biological males swoop in and dominate sports, industries, and awards reserved specifically for women, and we aren’t even allowed to joke about biological males being men without being silenced as hateful and violent?

Seth Dillon, CEO for The Babylon Bee, said they won’t bow to the ridiculous Big Tech censorship.

We’re not deleting anything. Truth is not hate speech. If the cost of telling the truth is the loss of our Twitter account, then so be it.
