“Go F**k Yourself:” Special Message from Ukraine Soldiers to Russian Warship

Thirteen Ukrainian patriots on Snake Island in the Black Sea were killed by Russian missiles, but not before giving the warship responsible some very pointed instructions.

WARSHIP: This is a Russian warship, I repeat, I suggest you surrender your weapons and capitulate. Otherwise I will open fire.” Do you copy?

FEMALE VOICE: Just in case.

MALE VOICE: Russian warship, go fuck yourself.

Usually we try to clean up our language with strategically placed asterisks, but you’ll notice I haven’t done so in the quote above. I don’t believe in mincing the last words of national heroes— and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that all thirteen soldiers will receive the title “Hero of Ukraine.”

These men and women make up only a small portion of the 137 people killed in this conflict so far, but they seem to have given Ukraine a mighty rallying cry. May the number of casualties not grow, may this war end quickly, and Russia, go f*ck yourselves.
