On June 6, 2020, Justin Trudeau took a knee with BLMInc protesters on Parliament Hill in solidarity with their protest of police brutality and systemic discrimination.
Then yesterday, in an incredible show of police brutality and systemic discrimination, Justin Trudeau had the Royal Canadian Mounted Police charge the line of remaining mandate freedom protesters, in an escalated authoritarian response to a peaceful protest which reflects unfavorably on Trudeau and the greater leftist narrative.

During the charge, two protesters were trampled by the police horses. One of those people was an older woman using a mobility walker, which was also trampled by the police horses along with the woman.
Then the Ottawa police straight up lied to the public about it, justifying the trampling of protesters by saying that someone threw a bicycle at the police horses, intending to injure a police service animal.
Here’s a video showing the older woman and her mobility scooter, as well as the RCMP charge.

If the bicycle you allege was thrown was really just the mobility scooter of the disabled woman you trampled, you really ought to delete these tweets and apologize, @OttawaPolice pic.twitter.com/DT7jCsDiRC

Here’s an incredibly tragic video showing the events.

The issue here isn’t actually the issue. It isn’t actually about unlawful or dangerous or politically charged protests. Because Trudeau’s fine with those. He took a knee at one, remember?
The issue is the narrative itself. The BLMInc protests fit their narrative. The mandate freedom protests don’t.
