Dem Hypocrites Maskless At NFL Game While LA Kids Muzzled All Day

Last night there were a couple of huge NFL games. We don’t much care for professional sports in our household for a variety of reasons, but I’d have to say I was rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs out of all the options. So I might have been disappointed.

But actually, last night’s games were a huge win for me for one reason– they revealed shocking, rampant hypocrisy. Specifically, the Rams/Niners game in LA.

You see, LA has very strict mask mandates. The stadium required masks. But, to no one’s surprise, countless political and social elites were seen enjoying the big game without their masks on.

And it wasn’t even just elites. Thousands of people were partying it up without their masks on. Or, as the mandate stipulates, they had a mask but just weren’t wearing it while they were eating and drinking. Because somehow COVID knows not to spread while you are “actively eating or drinking” and screaming in rage or ecstasy at other fans or players.

But take a moment to consider that, per local health mandates, LA public schools require every single kid, from 2 year old toddlers and up, to be wearing masks at all times, including outdoors and while playing sports or on the playground.

Yep. The Governor of the state, the Mayors of LA and San Francisco, countless other high profile elites, and 70,000 other people, many of whom presumably voted for Gavin Newsom and Eric Garcetti or their comrades, apparently don’t have to follow the mask rules if they don’t feel like it.

Meanwhile, your children are being unnecessarily muzzled for hours a day, despite the science that shows that masking is ineffective and unnecessary, especially for children, and despite the fact that the policy makers themselves obviously don’t think it’s really a big deal.

People called out the hypocrisy with stories of their kids being subjected to ridiculous mask rules, including being required to wear a mask even while on the court playing a basketball game, and others sarcastically proposing the stadium be turned into a school so kids don’t have to wear masks.

Quite the message for @GavinNewsom to send to California parents, that they still must send their children to school in masks while he ignores his rules and gets to watch some football mask free. #RulesForThee
