If you missed out on the latest addition to the Wall of Shame – courtesy of Elrod, catch up right here. I didn’t think I’d have another person to add to the Wall this quickly, but here we are!
Somehow, I’d forgotten that the 20k followers of the 93WIBC facebook page (the page for the radio station at which I just finished my employment this past Friday) generally have always hated me. They hated both me and Daisy when the Chicks on the Right show was on, and they’ve continued hating me while I’ve been part of the Mock ‘n Rob show. But I’d forgotten about that, since I rarely look at the comments there. I’m not sure WHY they have been so anti-Chicks and anti-Mock, but it’s a very different crowd of people who follow the WIBC FB page versus the actual Chicks on the Right FB page or the Mock ‘n Rob show FB page. They’re the people who seemed super butthurt that two Chicks who didn’t have a lick of radio experience somehow landed the afternoon drivetime radio gig back in 2013, and they’ve just never gotten over it.
I shared my final goodbye segment on the WIBC FB page this past Friday, forgetting about the fact that so many followers there are anti-Mock. Today I looked at the comments, and OMG YOU GUYS there were so many that were just SCREAMING to be added to the Wall of Shame.
A number of different folks could’ve easily qualified for the Wall (Hi Dan! Hi Chris!), but the honors today go to Amy. Amy, who created a fake profile ostensibly JUST to hate on me as hard as possible, must have gotten a little spooked once someone suggested that her comments might be crossing into libelous territory, because almost immediately after I screenshot her craziness, she deleted every comment and then her entire profile.
I had even gone to the trouble of politely removing her full name from the screenshots, even though it was likely fake, which I wouldn’t have bothered to do had I known she was going to nuke her profile from the FB platform completely. But whaddyagonnado.
ANYWAY, here’s how she started off in response to the goodbye video, which was captioned, “Mock says her goodbyes to the WIBC team and the audience!”

Look. I get it that some people don’t like me, which is completely fine. And I get it that some people disagree with my opinions. Also fine. But I know I’m not stupid. So in the first two paragraphs Amy made it clear that she was there to be an insulting seahag. All righty then. Whatever. That happens.
But let’s unpack and untangle that third paragraph, though. REHAB?!?!?!? WHAT IN THE HOLY HELL.

I was still trying to understand the rehab comment at this point, given that I’ve never in my entire life even tried WEED, let alone anything more addicting. And my alcohol consumption is a coupla glasses of wine a week. Tops. So to say this came out of nowhere is like the understatement of the year. She thinks I’m in pain? WTF? She thinks I feel bad about myself? These are the worst, most irrelevant insults ever. She and Dan, who also hates me, proceeded to dig into this rehab idea a little further.

Um – yes, you absolute idiot. When you say someone is on their way to rehab when that someone has never engaged in any behavior that would necessitate GOING to rehab – that, in fact, is insulting. If someone needs rehab and can benefit from rehab, that’s awesome. Rehab is great. But spreading a rumor that someone is GOING to rehab, when they’re doing no such thing? Come on, Amy. It’s not like it was a secret that you were trying to be insulting. You know how I know? Because of the two insulting paragraphs that preceded that one.

Because I mean, what a baffling out-of-left-field thing to accuse someone of unless perhaps that’s something you have intimate familiarity with, amirite?
Amy didn’t answer me at that point, and started to tangle with Renee, one of our followers instead.

Ahhhh, she’s a woman from Carmel – my town. The plot thickens. But my favorite line iwas when she said she used to listen until she “saw my behavior in her community.” OMG LOLOLOLOLOL.
Unfortunately, I didn’t capture one of her comments in time before she deleted it, but she also told someone else in the thread that she was a listener until she saw me in the grocery store, which apparently changed everything. This is when it became even more evident that Amy was lying through her teeth, since I am rarely at the grocery store (Mr. Mock typically does the shopping). And when I AM at the grocery store, it’s essentially impossible for me to misbehave because I am generally too lost and too baffled by my surroundings to have time or any inclination to misbehave. So I responded with my favorite gif – the one of Jennifer Lawrence basically doing the “Sure, Jan” face. AND YOU GUYS OMG LOOK AT HER RESPONSE.

In case it’s too small to see, here’s what she used as her profile photo – A LITERAL PICTURE OF JENNIFER LAWRENCE LOLOLOLOLOLOL:

And then this part of the conversation happened.

Quick programming note. NOTHING about the Mock ‘n Rob show has ever been scripted, except, interestingly, my final goodbye – which I wrote out in advance so that I wouldn’t leave anyone out as I was thanking folks.

At that point, one or two folks pointed out to Amy that saying I was heading to rehab was potentially crossing a line, and the next thing I knew – Amy and her entire profile were wiped.
I have no doubt there’s a real Carmel woman behind Amy’s fake profile – a woman who genuinely hates me for reasons she cannot articulate, so she just makes up sh*t about me instead. There are tons of Amys. They’re cowards who create fake profiles and then run when confronted, and they’re pathetic losers. Amy’s probably reading this right now, thinking of a new profile name and new rumor she can start about me with her new FB page.
HI “AMY!”
Whoever Amy is, I can’t wait for the next time she sees me in the grocery store or misbehaving in her community, since both of those things happen sooooo frequently. 🙂
Anyway, there’s the latest addition to the Wall of Shame. I’m sure there’ll be others. Amy might think she got a good dig in, but now that she’s on the Wall of Shame, she’ll be generating revenue for this website just like all the other folks on the Wall, and for that, I’m sending her a big, fat, virtual high five. THANK YOU, AMY!
