When Demi Lovato says she’s non-binary, followed by her saying she’s ‘coming into herself’ I almost spit out my coffee.

She does know that you can ‘transcend the typical discourse’ and explore authenticity without denying who you are on a biological level, right? Transgenderism and gender fluidity aren’t manners for which you obtain a higher understanding of yourself… in fact, these are methodologies to actually disconnect from who you really are. Why do you think the suicide rate hasn’t decreased within that community?
