On any given day, I would voluntarily roll my eyes into another dimension at the mention of Jake Paul and any sort of thought he has to share… but I’m behind him on this one.
Cari Champion from VICE asked Jake Paul, “Was it racist to knock a black man out?”
To which Jake Paul responded with annoyance, “No, stop asking me that. I said no! That’s a sh*tty question. It’s a sport.”
Champion is somehow appalled that her actual crap question could be perceived as what it is – a crap question.
Paul: “How does this have anything to do with race? It doesn’t.”
Champion: “It’s a fine question. We gotta wake you up – you gotta be a part of this conversation.”
…why is she acting like Jake Paul just found some random black fella off the street and started throwing punches all willy-nilly?
All this does is perpetuate the racist ideology… from people who supposedly want so badly to see it disappear? That’s ironic.
That was in fact a stupid question for a plethora of reasons. She would’ve been better off asking Jake Paul about his favorite colors and what he likes to do in his spare time.
