Democrats Redefining the Meaning of “Court Packing”

So, the Democrats and liberal pundits are at the business of redefining words and terms again. They were hard at work on Sunday, redefining the commonly understood meaning of words and terms.

They have already tried to change the meaning of the word woman and man, so this is not at all surprising.

Now, Democrats are trying to accuse the Republicans of “court packing” over the past three years. Apparently, appointing judges to vacancies is now court packing.

Illinois Senator Dick Durbin (D) voiced that complaint on Meet The Press.

Durbin complained, “The American people have watched the Republicans packing the court over the last three and a half years and they’ve bragged about it. They have taken every vacancy and filled it.”

Wow! How awful that the senators are actually doing their job. I guess Durbin would prefer they just confine themselves to conducting endless meaningless “investigations.”

The ACTUAL MEANING of court packing refers to expanding the number of justices on the Supreme Court. The only reason the Democrats would do this would be to override the results of the past elections that have resulted in the current makeup of the court.

The AP, always quick to carry water for the Democratic party, got on board with the new meaning of the term. According to the AP, only “critics” call it court packing. It’s really just a way to “depoliticize” the court.

Hopefully the American people don’t fall for the Democrat’s deception on this issue.

Let’s just listen to Joe Biden, who in 1987 railed against court packing. In 2020, we don’t deserve to know if his position on the issue has changed. We all know that’s because his position has changed. He is completely beholden to the Bernie Sanders wing of the Democratic Party.
