It’s crazy to me that this is a shared thought being circulated around the Internet right now. I watched The Purge movies when the malls were beginning to board up their doors and windows upon closing hours in my town because I was curious to see if there were any patterns I could point out.
Other than all crime, including murder, being entirely legal for 12 hours, devoid of any help from first-responders, the events that were depicted in the movie in comparison to what we see happening all around us now, is terrifyingly similar.
Needless to say, I made sure to keep my Glock at my bedside, double-triple checked my deadbolt locks, and thanked the Lord we live on the second-story of the apartment building.

The similarities are down to the freaking masks and blatant disrespect of authority figures.
This is no longer, and has never truly been, about finding equality among the people. Look at that video again and you’ll see masked black men harassing a black police officer… but I thought they wanted equality?
If these people aren’t being paid by George Soros, it looks more like deflection than anything; a bunch of people who attribute their own feelings of inadequacy towards other people.
You know who else does that? Toddlers.
Twitter users are noticing the hypocrisy as well –
so black lives don't matter when they're police offers? or am I missing why a man doing his job is being ridiculed & bullied by his very own people that allegedly are trying to achieve equality
