It’s laughable that democrats are trying to push a Make-A-Wish Foundation type of narrative out of Justice Ginsburg’s death, all the while attempting to pause filling the vacant SCOTUS seat, with the notion that the president who wins the upcoming election should have the final say, not prior to. Yet the democrats forget the other perspectives and stances she held for various other topics.
As previously noted on COTR:
According to NPR, during her final days, Ginsburg told her granddaughter, “My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed.”
Luckily, that isn’t her call. Ginsburg didn’t own her seat. It is completely within the purview of the president and the Senate to select a new justice; the outgoing justice gets no say.
Nevertheless, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is VERY upset that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has no plans to honor Ginsburg’s dying wish.
Here is a clip of AOC’s thoughts –

Democrats are having an uproar across various forms of media and platforms alike, suggesting control that they don’t actually have, demanding that it would be wrong of President Trump and the Senate to fill the seat before the election, and saying that the democrats should just pack the court.
Well, Justice Ginsburg has noted that she was against packing the court AND against the notion that the president doesn’t or shouldn’t uphold the same powers and duties in the fourth year as the preceding years.
The Blaze reported:
In an interview with NPR last July, Ginsburg made herself clear: Nine justices on the Supreme Court works for the United States.
“There is no fixed number in the Constitution. So this court has had as few as five as many as 10. Nine seems to be a good number and it’s been that way for a long time,” Ginsburg said.

While I didn’t agree on several of her stances on social issues, but she will always remain an absolute icon for the legal and political arena.
To conclude, here’s a video montage of some of our favorite (barf) democrats in total support of the Supreme Court remaining at a capacity of nine, the president’s powers maintaining consistent gravity throughout all four years of the term, and plenty more. Enjoy!
