It’s Official! We Have Been Deleted From Wikipedia!

YOU GUYS.  So much has happened since I posted about that Daily Kosplayer (see what I did there?) yesterday.  If you aren’t caught up about all the wiki-drama, start right here. 

And then read this.

Ok.  Now you’re caught up.

So after that last post about Zero Serenity, I noticed he started commenting on our FB post, and his own page, about all this drama. And instead of admitting that he flat-out lied in so many of his comments recommending our deletion, he basically reverted to pure toddler:

At that point, I decided to check in on the deletion discussion page once again, and realized I could just contribute to it myself.  Which I did.

If that’s hard to read, you can still see that discussion page.  As you can see, I included plenty more sourcelinks of mentions of us by other people of note, but I also ripped on a few of the Wiki editors (Zero Serenity and some other dude), because of their unbelievably obvious bias and basic incompetence.

What you CAN’T see anymore is our original wikipedia page, because now it looks like this:

So I guess that’s it. I’m not sure what happens next. Does this website now turn into a pumpkin or something?  I’m not sure how their erasure of our existence from their platform changes things, exactly.  We’re still here.  We’re still going to keep doing #allthethings.

Also – what’ll happen now if people search “chicks on the right wiki?”  Because if it means that they’ll land on this post instead of the Wikipedia platform?  Well, that’s just fine by us.  🙂

By the way, recall what Zero said in his article about potential optics of censorship. “We get this a lot. And honestly? We don’t care.”

We’ve heard from a couple of insiders at Wiki already who’ve reported other examples of incredible bias from that supposedly non-biased platform.  We look forward to spotlighting more stories about that soon.
