CA House Rep Introduces Bill Banning Gender Reassignment Procedures On Minors

A shred of sanity in California has finally been expressed.

California GOP, Doug LaMalfa, introduced a bill on August 11th, called The Protecting Children from Experimentation Act that would protect children from unethical medical interventions such as experimental gender reassignment treatments.

The Protecting Children from Experimentation Act would prohibit doctors from performing experimental gender reassignment treatments on children. Puberty-blocking hormones followed by cross-sex hormones can cause irreversible damage to children’s bodies, including an increased risk of cancer and permanent sterilization.

Reminisce on how awkward puberty was in a general scope… now imagine stunting your natural development of your body before you’ve even matured.

Puberty is already confusing enough, and the last thing these children need is to feel more at disarray. It’s a time when children need their parent’s protection and guidance the most.

I like to think of parental guidance as analogous to bowling bumpers: the bumpers resemble the confines for what you are, and you are free to roam and explore your lane as much as your heart desires. Anything outside of those bumpers? Well, sweetie, those are the things for which you are not. Get back in your lane. I love you! *forehead kiss*

LaMalfa stated:

Our society has quickly “normalized” gender experimentation under the guise of an “accepting” political ideology rather than biological reality. Even more troubling, children are undergoing experimental treatments, like being injected with puberty-blocking hormones and cross-sex hormones, which have irreversible consequences, such as permanent sterility.

Both the Protecting Children from Experimentation Act and the End Taxpayer Funding of Gender Experimentation Act aim to protect children and taxpayers from paying the high price of these unethical medical interventions.

As minors, children cannot vote, join the military, or open a bank account; it’s our job as society, and especially parents, to protect them from making life altering gender experimentation decisions that they may likely later regret.

The left sure does like to broadcast gender reassignment as though it’s synonymous to a tattoo, don’t they?

The natural physical and mental development of children should not be interfered with unless absolutely medically necessary, and NO, the word “necessary” is not supposed to be fluid!
