BREAKING: Facebook Reportedly Removes Hundreds Of Antifa And QAnon Pages Tied To Violence

As reported by Politico and according to a statement released by Facebook today, the social media giant addressed how they would be dealing with “movements and organizations tied to violence” moving forward.

Facebook said that they would be “taking action” against groups on Facebook and Instagram that promote or are connected to “anarchist groups that support violent acts amidst protest, US-based militia organizations, and QAnon.”

Facebook has already been actively shadow banning and blocking QAnon content. The company currently shadow bans content from conservatives like our site with little repercussion. Trump has recently come out in defense of conservatives being censored on social media accounts after Twitter and Facebook have removed or flagged tweets from the President.

Facebook says, “We already remove content calling for or advocating violence, and we ban organizations and individuals that proclaim a violent mission.”

Facebook has long been under fire for the hypocrisy of banning QAnon accounts but not addressing the actual villains in America. The multiple BLM and Antifa groups that call for killing cops and advocate for the destruction of America on Facebook have been allowed to stay active.

Facebook:

“Today we are expanding our Dangerous Individuals and Organizations policy to address organizations and movements that have demonstrated significant risks to public safety but do not meet the rigorous criteria to be designated as a dangerous organization and banned from having any presence on our platform. While we will allow people to post content that supports these movements and groups, so long as they do not otherwise violate our content policies, we will restrict their ability to organize on our platform.”

The social media company says that under the new policy, the following actions will be taken:

• Remove from Facebook
• Limit Recommendations
• Reduce Ranking in News Feed
• Reduce in Search
• Reviewing related hashtags on Instagram
• Prohibit the use of ads, commerce surfaces, and monetization tools
• Prohibit Fundraising

Here is the deal: Facebook doesn’t care about protecting people from violence. This policy is draped in “equality policing for all,” but we all know that this is a public display of virtue signaling.

Until I see the matrix that shows Facebook bans and limits BLM and Antifa in the same fervor that the company does with conservatives, I see this statement as a way to get public approval for their tactics to limit conservative voices.
