BREAKING: New CNN Poll Stuns Democrats, Shows Pres. Trump Cutting Biden’s Big Lead Down To Just 4 Points

It’s good news this Monday for President Donald Trump.

President Trump has pulled to within four points of Joe Biden in the latest CNN poll. The margin of error for the CNN poll is +/- 4, so the race is essentially tied.

From The Blaze:

The poll, which surveyed 1,108 registered voters, showed Biden narrowly holding onto a 50%-46% lead over Trump — with a margin of error of +/- 4% — a huge change from the poll’s previous tally in June that showed Biden with a sizable 14-point edge.

What’s more: The results were even tighter across 15 battleground states, with Biden leading by just one percentage point, 49%-48%.

Trump’s approval rating improved markedly in the new poll, as well, closing the approve/disapprove margin by seven points since the last tally.

This means that Trump is probably actually up five points. Also, since the poll is of registered voters rather than likely voters, the race is likely even tighter than the reported four points. We should expect Biden to get a post-convention bounce after this week’s DNC. Candidates always do.

Here’s to hoping this poll is a trend and not an outlier. Polling guru Larry Sabato is skeptical, but I’ll take any good news I can get at this point.

I don’t believe for one second that Biden has ever truly been up 11 or 14 points. There is no way voters of this country look at New York City, Portland, Seattle, and Chicago and say, “Yes, we want that!”
