Democrats Aimed To Register 1 Million Voters By Now In Florida. They Didn’t Come Close, Report Says.

The Tampa Bay Times is reporting that Florida Democrats lead by Andrew Gillum have failed to “re-engage 1 million voters” for this election cycle as promised after losing in Florida.

Their first problem was allowing Andrew Gillum to be the head of the “re-engaging” process. If you don’t remember, Gillum was found naked and surrounded by naked men and drugs in a hotel room. He has since checked into rehab.

I think it is laughable for the Democrats to believe they will win the culture war when they keep telling us the best they have to offer are people like Gillum, Pelosi, Schiff, and Biden.

Tampa Bay Times:

“When former President Barack Obama first won Florida in 2008, he entered the final months of the campaign with an advantage of more than 500,000 registered Democratic voters. That lead has steadily dwindled, dropping to about 259,000 in 2016, when Trump beat Hillary Clinton in Florida by 112,000 votes.

New data posted online Wednesday by the Florida Division of Elections showed that, as of July 20, when books closed on eligible voters for the upcoming Aug. 18 primary, Democrats led Republicans in the state by 240,423 people — about 5,000 fewer than at the same point in 2018.”

Democrats enjoyed a majority in the voter registration race for Obama’s victory as well as the loss for Hilary. Democrats know that they need a substantial lead in the voter registration war to give Joe Biden a chance at winning in November.

They came up short and actually decreased their numbers this year by as much as 5,000. With Trump winning in Florida where most voters registered as Democrats, it showed Florida Republicans were going to make it to the ballot boxes while their Democrat counterparts stayed home.

The most significant victory for voter registration, according to the Tampa Bay Times, came with the Florida legislature, which blocked an effort by Florida Democrats to allow felons the right to vote. Republicans have added 50,000 voters in the past year, and around 500,000 since 2016.
