‘I’ll Buy You A Drink!’: Gov. Cuomo Desperately Begs Rich NYC Residents Who Fled The City To Return

This is hilarious! New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is begging the rich who have left New York City to return.

New York City was hit heavily by the coronavirus pandemic when the virus first hit the U.S., causing a mass exodus among the city’s wealthiest residents. Cuomo fears the elites who remain holed up in the Hamptons and elsewhere might set up permanent residency and never return, considering the hefty taxes they are certain to be hit with if they come back.

“I literally talk to people all day long who are now in their Hamptons house who also lived here, or in their Hudson Valley house, or in their Connecticut weekend house, and I say, ‘You got to come back! We’ll go to dinner! I’ll buy you a drink! Come over, I’ll cook!'” Cuomo said during a press conference Monday.

Why in the world would the rich return? The city has quickly spun into lawlessness and violent crime has spiked under the “leadership” of the worst mayor in the history of ever, Bill de Blasio.

Also, does Cuomo think it’s appealing to live in a city with a de facto dictator who sets up checkpoints and $10,000 fines for breaking quarantine?

Just the other day, my husband said he wants to go to New York City some day. I used to feel that way, but not now. I have zero desire to visit New York City, or any other large city in America run by Democrats. I’d much rather spend my time and money…pretty much ANYWHERE ELSE.

Democrats ought to get used this if Joe Biden somehow wins the upcoming election. With Democrats and Biden’s promise to tax the rich, the rich will not just be fleeing the cities, they will be fleeing the country!
