UK Report Says The Lockdown May Cost Approx. 200,000 British Lives Unrelated to COVID

The Telegraph is reporting that the United Kingdom’s government released a report showing the lockdown cost approximately 200,000 lives unrelated to the COVID pandemic.

The report suggests that the lockdown caused more deaths than the actual virus did. The BBC is reporting that, as of today, the UK has 45,312 deaths caused by the virus.

The report shows the most significant number of deaths, approximately 210,000, resulted from delayed access to healthcare, both short-term and long-term.

Daily Mail reported that “the number of NHS patients admitted for routine ops has dropped 82% in a year and 1.5 million (people) have been forced to wait at least 18 weeks to start treatment.” Doctors in the UK are warning that the healthcare system will be facing a massive backlog in surgeries due to the lockdown. Most are saying “the crisis is spiraling out of control.”

The Daily Mail reported that a father-of-two died from cardiac arrest after his surgery to have a pacemaker fitted was deemed “non-essential” after the threat of COVID increased.

The lockdown was sold as 15 days to slow the spread and allow medical professionals time to get enough supplies and understanding of the disease to fight it. We found out early on that hydroxychloroquine works well as a prophylactic, but many people in government didn’t want to let go of their power and fed fear to the masses. Fifteen days turned into more than 100, and now we see that the COVID deaths are small in comparison to the other deaths the lockdown caused.

The story about this father is heartbreaking and tells us a lot about what happens when the government has control of your liberty and your healthcare. This man could have lived but, as he put it, the government was willing to risk his life to save his life. If the government had allowed him to get that surgery, his two little girls would still have a father.

Fear is the easiest commodity to sell.
