Andrew Cuomo did a disastrous job handling COVID-19 in New York. Whether you believe we should have shut down or not is not the issue here. The United States of America shut down. This is a fact, and this is how we, as Americans, decided to handle the unknown virus because every single one of us agreed to shut our doors in the beginning.
When the entire rest of the country shut their businesses and closed their doors to the help the hospitals get the gear they needed to fight the wave of infections, New York was one of the last states to close their doors. They allowed parades and parties, and health officials went on TV telling New Yorkers that it was safe to use public transportation.
The universal way the world decides whether you did a good job with handling coronavirus or a bad job is by looking at the number of infected people and looking at the number of deaths with the number of deaths being the most important.

The United States has suffered through 137,000 deaths related to or directly caused by COVID. All these deaths could have been avoided if the WHO and CHINA didn’t conspire to allow the spread of COVID to the rest of the world. New York has the highest number of infections AND the highest number of deaths in America.
American deaths number around 130,000, and New York makes up over 30,000 of those deaths. Andrew Cuomo used an executed order to force all nursing home places to accept ALL infected and contagious patients. They were not allowed to keep their residents safe because of Andrew Cuomo.

Andrew Cuomo claimed in his press conference that everyone will be talking (positively) about how he handled the virus in New York and then told everyone to buy his poster that illustrates how many lives he took in nursing homes. He did a disastrous job for New York, and Jake Tapper is holding him accountable.
Tapper holds Cuomo to task for the governor’s “victory lap” in front of the press this week. He calls out Cuomo for not locking down with the rest of the nation, selling a poster that did not include the 32,000 New York deaths, and he FINALLY mentioned the murder of thousands of seniors in New York because of Cuomo’s nursing home policy.
That wasn’t enough though, Tapper then brought on Dr. Gupta to talk about the terrible job he did. Yikes.
Listen I am not a fan of Jake Tapper or Dr. Gupta but I will always make an exception when they get it right. You know its bad for Andrew if CNN is allowing their TV personalities to say this.
