Seattle Holds Racially Segregated Training Sessions To Teach White Employees About Their “Complicity in Racism,” Fox News Reports

Christopher F. Rufo, contributing editor of City Journal, has exposed racist training that the City of Seattle is making only “white” employees participate in.

In this training, white employees are told to “practice self-talk that affirms our complicty in racism.” They are further told to DO THE WORK. What is this work? Well, among other things, it is “letting go” of comfort, guaranteed physical safety, emotional safety, control over the land, social status, and white normative behaviors.

Fox News summarized the June 12th training:

According to the documents, the Office of Civil Rights hosted a two-and-a-half-hour “Training on Internalized Racial Superiority for White People.”

In the email invitation to the event, the office asked “city employees who identify as white to join this training to learn, reflect, challenge ourselves, and build skills and relationships that help us show up more fully as allies and accomplices for racial justice.”

“We’ll examine our complicity in the system of white supremacy – how we internalize and reinforce it – and begin to cultivate practices that enable us to interrupt racism in ways to be accountable to Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) folks within our community,” the email invitation said.

Rufo exposed the extremely biased and racist training in the lengthy Twitter thread that is worth reading in its entirety. Here are some selected portions of the thread:

American culture values individualism. Remember rugged individualism? This is an attack on basic American values and culture.

A white employee literally cannot win. No matter what, you are racist.

This is brainwashing. This is indoctrination. What if a white employee refuses to go along with this charade? Will they be fired, demoted, or treated unfairly?

Last night, Tucker Carlson also covered this unbelievable story. He rightly asserted that the Justice Department would never tolerate this “training” if this were being done to black people. The Civil Rights Division would bring charges. Carlson is 100% correct. Bill Barr, where are you? What good is it for Republicans to have control of the executive branch if we don’t resist this lurch to the left and uphold the Civil Rights Act for all people, regardless of skin color?

Carlson pointed out that Seattle is certainly not the only city or school conducting this sort of training. Keep a sharp eye on your kids’ schools.

Carlson powerfully concluded:

“Attacking people on the basis of the race is a sin, there is nothing worse for a country. They can try to disguise it with Orwellian terms like ‘anti-racism,’ but this is the purest kind of race hate. It will destroy America faster than anything else. Don’t put up with it. Resist, speak out, fight back. This is totally wrong. Until you stand up, it will continue.”

It’s quite ironic that RESIST is the oft-said slogan of the anti-Trump left. I’m not sure what changes they are trying to resist. The only people trying to radically alter America as we know it are members of the Democratic Party.

It’s time we co-opt their language. It is WE who MUST RESIST!
