George Carlin Talking Germs Was Just What The Doctor Ordered Today…

I remember watching George Carlin a lot when I was a pre-teen/teenager back in the 80s.  I know what some of you are thinking…you’re saying to yourselves, “WOW, that dude’s comedy was pretty inappropriate for a kid in her formative years.”  Well, my parents apparently trusted that I’d turn out alright.  I also watched Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy and a LOT of comedians who were completely politically incorrect and HILARIOUS.

I am an unapologetic Gen X’er.  It should explain a lot as to why I am the way I am, if you’ve been here a spell.

Anywho, I absolutely LOVE George Carlin.  He’s one of my all-time faves.  Sure, if he were alive today, he’d probably align himself as a raging liberal, because all celebrities do.  But when you listen to this clip, it’s hard not to hear a lot of present-day conservative talking points.  I mean, you just can’t help but hear them.

Just take a gander (and if there are kids in the room, you may want to excuse them, because there are quite a few curse words in here, in case you’ve never listened to Carlin HELLO…YOU’VE BEEN WARNED):

I’ve been saying for years now – conservatives are the present-day counter culture. We’re the punk rockers.  I know that’s weird for a folks on the left to absorb, since they like to see themselves as “woke”, but wokeness is groupthink.  They’re actually the sheep-like group-thinkers and conservatives are the alternative ones.  Thinking like everyone else is easy.  Going against the grain isn’t so much.  We’re the hippies now, y’all. We’re the flippin’ George Carlins.

Anywho, I love the clip and had to share.  It’s a hell of a lot more fun to watch than Fauci’s constant back and forth.  Speaking of him, can the government just open the pools already?
