Well, well, well. Do you remember the Florida lawyer who dressed up as the Grim Reaper and went to beaches to warn people they were risking death by going to the beach?
He arrived in full costume and with body bags. He was very opinionated and judgmental about people’s decision to go out in the FRESH AIR.
Well, it seems as though he has had a change of heart. You see, the lawyer is a liberal. Therefore, by modern definition, he is a hypocrite.
Daniel Uhlfelder was shrouded in black and carried a scythe May 1 while roaming the beaches in Walton County, Florida, telling CNN that the beaches were “very crowded” and that “if we don’t take measures to control things, the virus is going to get really, really out of control.”
Weeks later, Uhlfelder dismissed his own advice about avoiding crowded areas and joined hundreds of people for protests following the death of George Floyd.
“We are here in Florida panhandle in Deep South where hundreds have turned out for peaceful protest. No peace. No justice.” he tweeted June 7.

I wonder if he went around the crowd and lectured all the people not wearing masks.
His hypocrisy is no surprise. We have, after all, learned the virus does not attack liberals who protest. It only attacks people opening their businesses, cutting hair, going to the beach, or protesting stay-at-home orders. Isn’t that so nifty?
The Daily Wire reported on public health officials who declared as much.
“Staying at home, social distancing, and public masking are effective at minimizing the spread of COVID-19,” the group continues. “To the extent possible, we support the application of these public health best practices during demonstrations that call attention to the pervasive lethal force of white supremacy. However, as public health advocates, we do not condemn these gatherings as risky for COVID-19 transmission.”
NOT RISKY. Can you believe what you just read?
The stay-at-home protests in Virginia and Michigan were decried as very, very dangerous. It was not an approved liberal cause because they wanted–and still want–to keep the economy suppressed. That was President Trump’s greatest argument for re-election.
As always these days, it’s all about politics. There is never a break from it, no matter how hard you try. In sports, you have kneeling in the NFL. In the NBA, you find Lebron James and Steve Kerr kowtowing to China. In your email inbox, you are assaulted by every major corporation and many small businesses prostrating themselves before the black lives matter movement, paying no attention to facts. On TV and movies, the LGBTQ agenda is constantly shoved in your face. And don’t even get me started about the public indoctrination, I mean education, system.
It takes deliberate effort these days to disconnect from politics. But it’s well worth it every so often to recharge and give yourself a break.
