Idaho Mom Arrested, Accused of Violating City Order For Allowing Her Kids On Closed Public Playground

This madness has got to stop!

People have lost their freaking minds over this virus.

Sara Brady, 40, was arrested for trespassing in Meridian, Idaho, according to a local CBS affiliate, after letting her kids play on a closed public playground. For real. This is what we have come to.

It really is too bad this mom was not an illegal alien a sanctuary city. Then she would be allowed to break the law.

Sara Brady, 40, was arrested and charged with one count of misdemeanor trespassing, the Meridian Police Department announced in a press release, after officers responded to Kleiner Park following “several calls to Ada County Dispatch.”

The memo noted that “officers saw that metal signage and caution tape announcing the playground closure due to COVID-19 was removed,” and that they “observed numerous individuals gathered on the closed playground area.”

Brady, they said, had been “told to leave the playground multiple times.”

At least two videos of Brady’s interaction with police began circulating across the internet.

Here is another video showing a crowd forming while the mother is hauled off to the police station.

A woman can be heard asking an officer as Brady is carted off, “As a person, does this make sense to you? As a person—not as a police officer, as a person—does this make sense to YOU?”

A crowd appeared to congregate in front of the police vehicle before the video ends.

First, can I must admit that I am jealous that all these people in the video are wearing  summer clothes. Please send some of that weather to Indiana please.

We are living in bizarre times in a bizzaro world  We are releasing criminals from jail and arresting moms who just want to let their kids play at the park.

The crux of this problem is not the police officers but the state and local officials enacting these ridiculous orders. People across the country are clearing reaching their limit of patience. People can see that hospitals are not overrun, the models were wildly off, and they want their freedom back.

The officers really are stuck in a tricky situation. State and local officials are doing police departments no favors in engendering goodwill from the local community. The hodgepodge of guidelines across the country are often contradictory and defy common sense. And the local police get the short end of the stick in being made to enforce these decrees.
