Well, well, well. What’s that saying? Rules for thee, but not for me. That’s apparently how Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot sees things.
According to the Daily Caller, Lightfoot got herself a haircut, despite Stay at Home orders.

Lightfoot defended the decision by saying, “I’m the public face of this city and you know, I’m a person who [takes] personal hygiene very seriously and I felt like I needed to have a haircut. So I got a haircut.”
Lightfoot also claimed that her stylist wore a mask and gloves while trimming her hair, but the posted photo showed her standing shoulder-to-shoulder with her stylist, and neither was wearing protective gear of any kind.
So, Lightfoot takes her personal hygiene very seriously. So do most other people! This is the same woman who has been telling people they cannot even go outside to exercise. The level of hypocrisy here is stunning.
Plus, I’ll just go ahead and say the mean thing. It’s surprising to see she even uses a hair stylist. Her haircut looks like a DIY/Flowbee type of job.
If it’s safe for Lightfoot to get a haircut from a stylist with a mask and gloves, why can’t us regular minions do the same?
Zero Hedge reported on Lightfoot’s dictates a couple of weeks ago. She lectured the people of Chicago.
Stay at home. Only go out for essentials. You have to readjust your thinking. Be smart. Not only will our police be deployed to shut them down if you are not abiding by these orders we will be forced to shut down the parks and lakefront. The situation Is deadly serious and we need you take it deadly seriously.
You cannot go on long bike rides. Playgrounds are shut down. You must abide by the order. Outside, is for a brief respite, not for 5Ks. I can’t emphasize enough that we abide the rules.
Mayor Lightfoot, you cannot go out and get a haircut. Salons are shut down. You must abide by the order. A shower in your home, for a brief respite of hygiene is fine. But I cannot emphasize enough that you must abide the rules. Hypocrite.
