Doctor Arrested For Allegedly Deliberately Hugging And Coughing On Nurses

In case you missed it, there’s kind of this whole global pandemic thing going on right now.

Apparently, that news has failed to resonate with some medical professionals in Connecticut, or really just the one doctor who thought going out of his way to hug and cough on hospital staff was a good idea.

UConn police charged Dr. Cory Edgar, 48, an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at the UConn Musculoskeletal Institute, with breach of peace, as The Hartford Courant reported. The police report stated that they were summoned to the UConn Health outpatient surgery clinic in Farmington, Connecticut, for a report of a doctor “deliberately coughing on and hugging nurses, causing them a substantial amount of alarm.” Multiple witnesses allegedly saw the actions the doctor took.

Now, as far as anyone knows, Edgar does not have COVID-19. But I still think the question needs to be asked: WHAT THE ACTUAL FLYING FART WAS THIS JACKASS THINKING?!

People are dying. They’ve lost jobs. It is an exceptionally difficult time to be a human on planet earth because of this virus.

And somehow Dr. Edgar thought this was a good idea? Was it a joke?

Is this some elaborate set up to frame him? Is he trying to increase the staff’s immunity to other diseases so they’re more prepared to fight off Coronavirus??
