Finally, we should never let politics get in the way of good policy. This is a great start and hope others will be part of a united front to push for good policies that will help us work through the economic anxiety the country is feeling right now.

Obviously, this makes me even more terrified of the measures that Trump is taking right now, because any time he does something supported by the worst, most anti-capitalist people ever, it gives me pause. I continue to believe that there MUST be a better way to help those most in need than sending EVERY AMERICAN a check, particularly those of us who continue to work and receive a paycheck already.

I cannot even begin to fathom what the fallout will be after we tack on another trillion + dollars of debt to the books.

It’s still a crapton of money, but at least somewhat more directed.

I don’t pretend to know AT ALL the best way to fix this, but I cannot understand why so many people who DO NOT NEED A CHECK, will be getting a check. That’s the part that makes no sense to me.
