On Thursday last week, Hillary Clinton went on the late-night talk show “Watch What Happens Live!” with host Andy Cohen. Hillary was there to drum up press about her new documentary on Hulu focused on Hillary’s private and political life. I wrote about Bill Clinton’s disgusting attempt at garnering sympathy here.
On the show, there is a segment called “Plead the fifth.” It’s a rapid-fire round of three questions where the subject can “plead the fifth” to only one question out of the three. In this game, Andy Cohen asked Hillary, “What do you honestly think of first lady Melania Trump’s cyberbullying initiative?”
Clinton couldn’t possibly pass up this opportunity to knock a woman that is more beautiful, caring, and compassionate than Hillary could ever be. She hates Melania for the sheer fact that Melania sleeps in the White House, and Hillary Clinton does not.
After a long and annoying dramatic pause, Hillary responds, “I think she should look closer to home.” Because Trump’s twitter is way worse than you allowing Benghazi to happen or your husband using his office to seduce women and ruin their lives. *Rolls Eyes Until The End Of Time!*
Doesn’t Hillary look like she has had plastic surgery? The DNC knows the dumpster fire they have tied their horse too. You have two ancient men, one with dementia, and one that has had a heart attack in the last 8 months. Are they resurrecting this old bat to get the VP nom?
Melania Trump is the antithesis of Hillary in every way. She takes her duties as the First Lady seriously and performs them with grace and dignity. After Hillary’s attempt to trash Melania Trump’s husband, it would only be fitting that Melania fight back.
But this is our First Lady we are talking about. She doesn’t result in naming calling or getting dirty. She responded on Twitter without calling Hillary by name.
“I encourage everyone who chooses to be negative and question my work at the White House to take time and contribute something good and productive in their own communities. #BeBest”
When it seems like the political world is dirty and incapable of civility, Melania Trump shows us that it is still possible.
