Well, well, well, Pete Buttigieg pulled out.
I knew it was only a matter of time, I just didn’t think it would already be that time.
He was a source for much of my cringe entertainment so it’s a little bittersweet for me, if I’m being totally honest… such as only receiving two-percent of the African-American vote after the South Carolina primary.
I’m definitely going to miss the flatulence jokes; they’re cheap jokes but I don’t care.
Buttigieg held so many far-left views on a plethora of issues but continued to call himself a moderate Democrat. We all saw through his charade, especially when he was asked to delve into the details of his policy views. Did he think he’d get away with people-pleasing, one-liner azz kissing?
For instance, he advocated total government takeover of health insurance and socialized medicine, he never supported legal restrictions on abortion, and didn’t believe in protecting our borders.
According to The Daily Wire:
Politico reporter Carla Marinucci reported: “Pete Buttigieg to announce he is out of the presidential race, his staff now hearing the news in campaign call, sources tell us.”

The New York Times reported:
By the end, Mr. Buttigieg’s senior aides and allies admitted he never really had much hope of doing well here.
Going up early on television, which boosted his standing in Iowa, didn’t help Mr. Buttigieg when he began airing ads here in December. (His team wasn’t doing much polling of South Carolina so it couldn’t be sure what was working and what wasn’t.)
I guess announcing that you’re gay every five minutes isn’t a selling point for a majority of American voters.
