It’s always fun to watch politicians attempt to be hip and relevant.  

And by fun, I mean absolutely cringeworthy – but also hilarious.

This time, it was Democratic presidential candidate Tom Steyer.  

The billionaire joined rapper Juvenile onstage at a South Carolina campaign event at historically black Allen University, where Steyer showed off his white boy moves to Juvenile’s 1999 hit “Back That Azz Up.”

I wonder if their kids were watching.

For his part, Tom poked fun at his own dancing:

“What I found in South Carolina is not just talent, – Not just my dancing,” he joked.

You know what?  I kind of like these clips.  

Yes, it’s awkward, and certainly has no bearing on Steyer’s ability to President, but he got up there and looks like he’s having a pretty good time.
