It’s actually not surprising, given that she supported Bernie in 2016. At an event in Texas, she said, “It’s time for us to take a stand with Bernie. It’s our turn now.” She claimed to be “honored” to endorse him.
Bernie appeared on 60 Minutes this past weekend with Anderson Cooper, and it was Bern-tastic. Check this out:

He also had things to say to Anderson about Bloomberg not having a chance against Trump:
I haven’t watched the entire interview, but if I had to bet money that Anderson Cooper did NOT ask him about the gulags, I’d feel like that was a pretty safe bet.
