Van Jones, who by the way is very pleasant to watch, is speaking common sense facts again. He continues to sound the alarm about the candidates up on the stage, particularly Sanders and Bloomberg.
He compared Bloomberg’s disastrous performance to the Titanic.
“Look, this was a disaster for Bloomberg. Bloomberg went in as the Titanic: billion dollar machine Titanic. ‘Titanic meet iceberg [Democratic Massachusetts Sen.] Elizabeth Warren.’ She took him to task in a way that I have never seen in a debate. She took it over. She prosecuted him,” Jones said while participating in a CNN post-debate panel analysis.

Van Jones also criticized Bloomberg for being tone deaf. He pointed to Bloomberg’s out of touch reference to the fact that he is too rich to use lowly TurboTax. Why does Bloomberg insist on insulting everyday Americans?

Van Jones carried on, “His answer on women was terrible. He got completely destroyed on the NDA question. His answer on stop and frisk was as bad as it could possibly be.”
“On every major thing that people who are looking for a champion, just when they see some contrition and some professionalism, he let people down tonight. And he’s got to go back to the woodshed and get it from his team and come back better next time.”
After watching Bloomberg last night, it is hard to imagine his candidacy gaining any more traction. He was lifeless and completely unprepared for all the questions. One has to wonder, is he really he even interested in being president?
Bloomberg does not really fit into the Democratic party. He is a billionaire who is a capitalist at heart. He doesn’t’ fit into the Republican party either, since he’s a nanny state liberal who wants to control people’s lives and take away their guns.
It is difficult to see how one can continue to make the argument that Bloomberg is the savior of the Democrats among this pathetic field of candidates.
Is Bloomberg finished?
