There are two things I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy – cancer and far left extremism.
The Daily Wire reported:
Following conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh’s announcement that he had been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, a high school English teacher in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, sent out a tweet celebrating the host’s diagnosis, and wishing him a painful death.
I mean, if you think about it, it must be painful to be that cold-hearted all the time, so perhaps that’s the karma… and that’s just me being optimistic.
This high school teacher is Travis Sarandos, and he has since deleted his Twitter, but the tweet read: “Limbaugh absolutely should have to suffer from cancer. It’s awesome that he’s dying, and hopefully it is as quick as it is painful.”
There were several other critics who took the gloves off after Limbaugh announced his battle.
According to The Daily Wire:
Producer and religious scholar Reza Aslan tweeted the following: “Ask yourself this simple question: Is the world a better place or a worse place with Rush Limbaugh in it?”
But wait, just in case you thought it would stop there, he proceeded to further explain his hatred so we can make a well-rounded judgment of his behavior.
1. I am not “celebrating” anyone’s diagnosis. I’m posing an important philosophical question
2. Rush is not “my adversary” – he is a curse upon this nation, a purveyor of hatred and racism who’s at the very least indirectly responsible for the mass suffering of countless people. https://t.co/buUdG0V3IF— Reza Aslan (@rezaaslan) February 3, 2020
I guess we define ‘important philosophical questions’ just slightly differently…
