Utah isn’t the only group of people sick of Mitt Romney and his RINO tactics. It seems that Utah is the only one with the ability to do anything about it. Republican Utah state Rep. Tim Quinn launched a bill that would allow citizens of Utah to recall U.S. senators.
According to Fox, Quinn had this to say about whether this was a dig at Romney. “I know that’s what’s going to be the narrative. If it were, then it might make sense to have a sunset on it. That would not be the case. Six years is a long time.”
Yes, Rep Quinn six years is a long time, and it’s too long for us to have to wait for Romney to be out of office. He is a turncoat. I think that Quinn knows this is a dig at Romney and is trying to get the job done without causing too much of a stir.
Romney has done everything he can to go against Trump and the rest of his Republicans. During the impeachment sham alone, he has been called a RINO multiple times for siding with Democrats on issues this big. We are talking about the impeachment of a Republican president who is being railroaded by the Democrats. Mitt Romney is going along with all their schemes.
Romney has been open to hearing witnesses in the Senate when most Republicans are in favor of a quick acquittal. Even if this was the only reason to want Romney out, it is enough. He isn’t trying to keep a Republican seat like Susan Collins in Maine. He is purely doing it because he hates the President.
Utah still has a ways to go before they can put a recall on a ballot. In Utah, you must have 25% of the number of active voters in the state behind you and willing to put their signature on it.
Here is to hoping that we can kick all the RINO’s out and put in the type of Republicans that aren’t afraid to stand up the screamers in the Democratic Party. We need Republicans who haven’t had their “alpha” educated out of them like they are doing at West Point.
