BREAKING: President Trump Gives Stirring Speech At The March For Life

President Donald Trump gave a powerful speech today in front of a large crowd at the 47^th annual March for Life in Washington, D.C.

Trump began, saying, “Today as President of the United States, I am truly proud to stand with you”.

He specifically applauded young people for their role in the movement.  He noted, “It is your generation that is making America the pro-family, pro-life nation”.

Trump was poetic in much of his language throughout the speech.  He frequently called upon the idea that life is from God.

All of us here today understand an eternal truth:  every child is a precious and sacred gift from God.  Together we must protect, cherish, and defend the dignity and sanctity of every human life.  When we see the image of a baby in the womb, we glimpse the majesty of God’s creation.

President Trump took time to outline some of the actions his administration has taken to protect life.  These actions include reinstating the Mexico City policy, restricting use of Title X funds for abortions, and his commitment to veto legislation that does not support pro-life policies. He also noted that his administration reinstated exceptions for the Obamacare contraception mandate for religious groups such as the Little Sisters of the Poor.  Finally, he celebrated the 187 judges he has appointed who will actually “apply the Constitution as written”.

Trump also called out the Democrats for how far left they have become.  He said, “Democrats have embraced the most radical and extreme position”.  He reminded everyone how, today, most Democrats support taxpayer funding of abortions all the way up until birth.

President Trump reaffirmed his call upon Congress to pass legislation that would prohibit late term abortion.

Near the end of his nearly fifteen-minute speech, Trump eloquently outlined the value of life and the loss we suffer when we snuff that life out.

We cannot know what our citizens yet unborn will achieve.  The dreams they will imagine.  The masterpieces they will create. The discoveries they will make.   But we know this, every life brings love into this world. Every child brings joy to a family. Every person is worth protecting.  And above all, we know, that every human soul is divine and every human life, born and unborn, is made in the holy image of Almighty God.
