American Federation of Teachers or AFT is a Union that is supposed to support educators and professionals. According to their website, “The American Federation of Teachers is a union of professionals that champions fairness; democracy; economic opportunity; and high-quality public education, healthcare, and public services for our students, their families, and our communities. We are committed to advancing these principles through community engagement, organizing, collective bargaining, and political activism, and especially through the work our members do.”
On the surface, the Union’s mission sounds honorable. Then you read on and see the line “collective bargaining and political activism.” This is just a smart way of saying, give us your money, and we will spend it on social justice causes that suit our liberal agenda.
Look at the President of the AFT; her name is Randi Weingarten. Pay attention because she is the president of the Union that is supposed to be fighting for inclusive and nonbiased education for kids and better support and working conditions for educators.
She supports impeachment:
.@RepAdamSchiff gave a remarkable, compelling closing tonite… it was riviting, and masterful… Right matters… Thank you https://t.co/CnTaOvsRAa

She spreads the detainment camp agenda that was started by the liberal media. The camps that began during the Obama administration.
We currently have more children detained away from their parents than any other country. #CloseTheCamps https://t.co/IiqWUkAa43

She is anti-school choice or school voucher programs. These programs would allow public funding to go to private schools regardless of religious affiliation.
SCOTUS could upend the separation of church and state. This is actually a threat to religious liberty. it’s a total and utter perversion of the Constitution… to mandate support for a particular religion. #Espinoza https://t.co/6xAHAkijZ4

Every time she has tweeted about this ruling, she has maligned religious schools labeling them as anti-gay or anti-LGBTQ. We know in our current social climate being labeled as either anti-gay or anti-LGBTQ is a societal death sentence. You will get canceled, doxed, and harassed by angry social justice warriors. Most private Christian schools indeed forbid same-sex relationships, but most of them also prohibit relationships of any kind. When I went to school, we had a teacher that would come and measure if you were sitting 6 inches apart. Male and female, it didn’t matter, 6 inches apart you had to be.
As a conservative, it’s hard to imagine why someone in such an important position would use their power for selfish gain. These programs and social justice causes aren’t in the betterment of the education department or for students trying to succeed in a failing public school system. Instead, they prove to push the liberal agenda on a new generation that is still being molded.
I believe that you have the right to your political opinion. You should not be able to use your position of power to push liberal ideology instead of doing what is best for the people you are representing.
