Apparently It’s ‘Terrifying’ That People Were Armed To Protect Themselves During TX Church Shooting

GIVE ME A BREAK.

You know what’s more terrifying?

Tons of people dying at the hands of ONE law-breaking individual.

As Breitbart reported:

A columnist writing at AZCentral.com suggests it was “terrifying” that parishioners were armed at the church in White Settlement, Texas.

On December 29, Breitbart News reported that a gunman at West Freeway Church of Christ opened fire, only to be shot dead by an armed parishioner. Jack Wilson, the good guy with a gun, was one of many parishioners who drew their guns to fight back when the heinous attack began.

Mass shooting gets cut short by individuals armed and ready to protect… I must have missed the terrifying part about the GOOD GUYS.

Sometimes (no, most of the time) trying to manipulate the facts to conform to a particular narrative just sounds absolutely asinine.

But wait, there’s more!

But she is quick to stress that Wilson “wasn’t just an ordinary parishioner, as gun advocates may want you to believe.” Rather, she points to New York Times‘ reporting that noted Wilson is part of “the church’s volunteer security team member, a firearms instructor, [a] gun range owner and former reserve deputy with a local sheriff’s department.”

She did not explain what was terrifying about parishioners being armed nor did she point out their self-control or the responsible conduct they demonstrated while their firearms were drawn.

Uhh. For anyone to be handling a firearm, wouldn’t it be relieving for it to be a professional?

That’s literally the point of our Second Amendment rights… situations exactly like this and tyranny.

What would she have rather have happened?

Throw rainbows and stuffed unicorns at the mass shooter?

On a scale of ‘1’ to ‘Even’, I can’t.
