San Fransisco is losing the battle despite spending 94 mil to clean it up

Mayor London Breed is beginning to feel the harmful effects of San Fransisco’s liberal homeless policies.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, “San Francisco spent $94 million — or about $257,534 a day this year — trying to keep the city clean.” Despite this amount of money, they are losing this battle.

A tourism study conducted in SF showed that 33% of the 1,282 tourists questioned said that it was the conditions of the streets and the amount of homelessness to be the biggest problem with visiting the city.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say well, DUH!

No one wants to come to visit a city where people are defecating in the grocery aisles. The growing homeless problem is nothing new. We have sat back and watched SF create its failing social experiment over the past 10 years.

I used to go to San Francisco once a year, starting in 2008 to watch my now brother-in-law play for CAL Rugby in the NCAA Rugby Championship. My husband used to joke about having to jump over the growing homeless population back then, and now we will not take our kids.

The City Journal says that the city gives out 4.5 million FREE syringes to the homeless population, and only about 60% of them are disposed of properly. Keep in mind that these needles are often left on the street, still filled with blood and heroin.

The city pays for staffed portable toilets with needle disposing stations attached, gives out vitamin C to help dissolve drugs, making it easier to shoot, and pamphlets and clinics to help teach addicts how best to find a vein. No, you aren’t dreaming, you did read that, and they are doing that!

You start to think, is everyone just completely stupid? Then a little miracle happens in the form of big business. You see, tourism survives in SF despite the defecation and needle use on the sidewalk because of iconic houses to see, world-renowned architecture, restaurants, and museums. For the first time in 20 years, Oracle has decided to move its $60 million convention from San Fran to Las Vegas.

The Mayor claims that changing the harmful policies that force these big companies and their dollars into the hands of other cities is almost impossible due to the social climate of their city. The people want compassion, but this is not compassion.

Allowing people to live like this does nothing but encourage the continuation of this problem.

The majority of the city’s drug dealers are illegal aliens, but they are a sanctuary city and want to keep these poor people that are just trying to make a better life for themselves. *gag* *cough* *rolls eyes*

I used to live in Austin, and right before I moved, the IDIOTS on the city council allowed the homeless population to camp where ever they wanted. The police were handcuffed.

I know you won’t be surprised when I say this, but attacks from homeless people on tourists rose, and crimes against businesses rose.

I personally saw a woman pulling her pants down and relieving herself under the overpass WITH THE POLICE SITTING AT THE SAME RED LIGHT AS ME. Luckily our governor isn’t a liberal stooge and sent the national guard in to clean it up.

California is a wasteland. Liberal policies ruin cities and businesses. Epstein didn’t kill himself.
