I would have thought by now that when faced with the bratty, snippy bitterness of the Left, I’d be used to it. But I find myself still surprised by just how absolutely insane some of these people are.
According to that sourcelink, Tim Campos, who is a tech CEO in Mountain View, California, has had his Tesla broken into three times in the past 18 months while parked in a city lot. A fourth break-in occurred to a rental car he was driving while his Tesla was being repaired. Each break-in has resulted in a $1,200 bill for Campos. He has received no real assistance from the city. He has asked the city to install a surveillance camera in the lot, but doesn’t seem to have much faith in things changing.
Police say it’s the crime suppression unit that investigates car break-ins, but obviously they’re not really being effective.
So now? Campos is considering moving his company.
“I’m not sure I plan to keep my company in Mountain View,” he said. “When the lease expires, I’m thinking of moving to a different city that treats crime more seriously.”
You can hardly blame him. I mean, all the guy has done is run a company, provide employment to others, and make a nice enough living for himself to buy a cool car. He doesn’t deserve to constantly have his car broken into.
I would hope that’s how most normal people view this situation. But nope.
WHOA. Campos is an a$$hole because he expects to be able to park in city parking lots without having his car broken into on multiple occasions? WTF.
It gets worse. Sarah’s got herself a case of the jealous-of-rich-people syndrome.
So because he’s made money, it is HIS FAULT that there are property crimes, and he should be addressing that by….being less rich?
Oh. So now you’re rich if you own a car. That’s cool. I had no idea I was rich.
I kinda thought that people across lots of income classes had vehicles, and had the use of “public spaces.” Silly me.
So Sarah thinks that the tech CEO should stop driving, which she equates to “flaunting his wealth.” She thinks his wealth was “extracted from his workers” even though without him, those workers wouldn’t have jobs. And if he would just read a book, then BOOM. No more car break-ins. BRILLIANT!
Incidentally, cars actually HELP people out of poverty, because having that kind of mobility allows people to have choices in employment and housing. It’s not just rich people who have cars.
Does this lunatic not realize that ALL people who use that parking lot, including lower and middle class car owners, will benefit from a safer parking lot? How is it “long term damage” to the community to FIGHT CRIME??
She started responding to the many many many many many people trying to set her straight, and here’s one example:
I have never seen a more ridiculous example of victim blaming. She is literally saying that because Campos has money, he doesn’t deserve to have police respond to crimes committed against him. WTF.
Leftists are batsh*t. Period.
